We recently received a phonecall from a Ladies daughter in Somerset, asking if we could help "Mum" get connected to the Internet, as the Grandchildren wanted to talk and see Nanny via a webcam. At 86 years old this proud and very capable lady now spends an hour a week "seeing" and talking to her family. Her Daughter has reported back (with a box of choccies) that mum is now enjoying her Internet, and was asking about email! We are expecting another phonecall!
If there is anybody older than 86 within our coverage area with a computer please ask - your first lesson will be free!!! all we'll ask is for a cup of tea.
For the home user, we offer simple lesson structures, lasting from 1 to 3 hours in duration. many parents ask for a tech top up lessons that bring them up to speed on using the computer safely on the Internet. We've tried to list our more popular lessons on the right side list.
We have Engineers, and qualified Academics, who are professionally qualified to teach. The difference being that we'll do it all in your home, or premises. Tailored to a pace just for you.
These lessons are highly affordable, and the student is encouraged to take notes, and is given printed documentation at the end of the course.
We are particularly conscious of the need for people who are retired to learn these skills, and have a fully qualified more mature tutor, who is very experienced at teaching. He is 63 years old and has been teaching for over 30 years. He is ideally suited to teach Microsoft Operating systems to the more mature student.
